How did I get here? Yoga sparked a curiosity in me and has been a part of my daily life since I began a regular practice 10 years ago. I studied my first teacher training in Hatha and Vinyasa in 2020 with Jessica Stewart and Olivia Marley and have since trained in Yin Yoga with Norman Blair and most recently Daoist Flow with Jean Hall, Mimi Kuo-Deemer and James Rafael. The interdisciplinary approach taught on this course, blending qigong, somatics and buddhist philosophies, informs the inquiry and explorative based style I now practice and teach.

I have felt the way these practices can change your way of being in the world; softening the grip, riding the waves of change and seeing life through the lens of loving kindness have all had a profound impact on the ways I encounter life’s challenges. The ability to share the impact of this practice in others is a joy to observe.

As a teacher I take a caring,  thoughtful and sensitive approach, offering options for all students with open acceptance, meeting you wherever you are in your practice.

My focus is to help students discover their own unique embodiment, feeling the experiences of movement and stillness from within. Through sharing the practice, I hope to enlighten an awareness of the naturally expansive nature of both body and mind, creating the opportunity to notice the smallest of details within that spaciousness. Expect an equal parts smooth and strong flow, empowering and explorative breath-led movement, as well as precious space for stillness.

A lover of movement, off the mat you’ll find me running through East London’s parks and canals or heading to the coast whenever possible, surfboard in hand.

“Many of us have made our world so familiar that we do not see it anymore. An interesting question to ask yourself at night is, What did I really see this day?”
